Nitoly Compression-Sliding Window & Door Systems

One compression-sliding hardware family for single-track windows, double-track windows and double-track doors. A 90° handle turn operates the mechanism; when closed, the sash moves laterally to press against the perimeter gasket.

Choose the roller kit and gear case to suit the profile, track arrangement and sash weight. The three configurations share the same operating principle, with standard sash loads of 100, 180 and 220 kg.

The handle controls sliding and compression locking in one mechanism. The sash travels along the track, then moves laterally at closure to engage the gasket around the opening.

Turn and slide

A 90° handle turn operates the opening and closing mechanism. The active sash can be held at intermediate positions for controlled ventilation or opened more widely for increased airflow.

Close and compress

A 6.5 mm lateral movement presses the sash against the gasket. Locking forces are distributed around all four sides for even perimeter compression. The performance of the completed window or door depends on its profile, glazing, gasket and installation.

Choose the Configuration for Your Opening

The 23 mm and 29 mm dimensions describe the height from the track to the mounting surface. They do not describe sash thickness. Select the configuration against the actual profile and calculated sash weight.

23 mm Single-Track Window

A compact window configuration using the 100 kg single-track roller kit. The catalogue specifies a maximum of 135 kg with auxiliary rollers.

29 mm Double-Track Door

Shared Design Advantages

Slim Sightlines

Slim mullion and sash-frame sightlines leave more space for glazing and daylight. The coordinated hardware supports a restrained window and door appearance.

Stable, Low-Resistance Travel

Load-bearing support and anti-derailment protection work together with low-noise polymer rollers. Rolling upper guides, lower rollers and bidirectional needle roller bearings reduce friction through the mechanism. Load capacity follows the selected roller kit and configuration.

Adjustable Locking Points

Additional locking rods and matching strikers can be selected to suit sash height. Eccentric locking-point adjustment of ±1 mm and an 11 mm hook-lock adjustment range help align the hardware with the selected profile.

A Defined Starting Position for Installation

Red positioning pieces on the rollers, guide rollers and hook lock establish the initial setup. The 36 mm corner-drive stroke and up to 10 mm cumulative cutting tolerance around the perimeter rods help simplify assembly and alignment.

Start with the common components, then add the gear case and main kit for the selected variant. Each diagram uses the catalogue item numbers shown in the tables. Optional additions depend on sash dimensions and weight.

Size-Dependent Additions

For sash widths over 1,500 mm, the catalogue recommends one additional centre upper roller and one additional centre lower roller, each with its matching transmission rod. Use the roller codes specified for the selected variant. Add locking rods and strikers as required by sash height; an additional hook lock is recommended above 2,200 mm.

Optional Soft Closing

An optional damper slows the final closing movement. Select it for the actual sash weight and confirm compatibility with the chosen configuration. Damper weight limits are separate from the load capacity of the main roller kit.

The catalogue lists the options below without a quantity. Confirm the damper quantity for the project. A damper rated up to 150 kg must not be presented as suitable for a 180, 220 or 300 kg sash.
