Nitoly Concealed-Hinge Swing Door System

A coordinated concealed-hinge hardware system for single- and double-leaf swing doors. Integrated multipoint locking, adjustable hinges and extension shoot bolts bring together clean detailing, controlled operation and practical installation.

The catalogue specifies a standard load of 150 kg with two hinges and a maximum load of 180 kg with three hinges. Dedicated active- and passive-leaf components support double-door configurations.

The proprietary Nitoly process is designed to resist coastal salt spray, acid rain, corrosion and long-term aging. A brushed, silver-anodized hinge finish adds resistance to fingerprints and scratches.

Built for Repeated Use

The Nitoly catalogue reports testing to 100,000 opening and closing cycles for frequent, heavy-duty operation. Concealed hinges support a clean door appearance while carrying the specified sash load.

Coordinated Multipoint Locking

Dual-sided beveled latches and hook bolts work together along the door edge. Closing the door activates pre-locking, extending the deadbolt and hook bolt together for initial sealing and security.

Protection at the Door Perimeter

Compatible top and bottom shoot bolts support additional locking and sealing. A dust-protected shoot-bolt plate helps keep the threshold interface clear, while the optional friction stay limits opening to reduce impact damage.

A Cleaner Installation Process

The multipoint lock and passive-leaf shoot bolt use an integrated faceplate. Concealing the shoot-bolt drive beneath that plate avoids profile-chamber routing and special corner cleats, simplifying assembly and parts management.

Precise Alignment After Installation

The clamp-mounted hinge provides 5 mm vertical and 9.5 mm lateral adjustment. Eccentric adjustment at the striker and passive-leaf shoot-bolt striker provides ±1.5 mm for fine-tuning the closing position.

Extension Options for Different Door Heights

Select 400 mm, 750 mm or 1,110 mm extension shoot bolts for the corresponding door-height range. The single-leaf shoot-bolt plate also provides ±1 mm adjustment for final alignment.

The diagram illustrates the single-leaf arrangement. The rows below list that configuration first, followed by the active and passive leaves of the double-door arrangement. Select the applicable arrangement; these are separate configurations, not one combined kit. For each leaf, choose one extension length to match the stated door-height band. Friction stays are optional. Hinge quantities are shown as listed in each catalogue table: two hinges support 150 kg, while three support 180 kg. Confirm the extension requirement for doors below 2,090 mm with HOPO.
