Nitoly Integrated Window-and-Screen System

An outward-opening glass sash and an inward-opening insect screen work together in one coordinated hardware system. Nitoly combines supporting hinges, handles, gear cases and locking points for ventilation, access and everyday comfort.

The catalogue configuration supports a glass sash of up to 50 kg and a screen sash of up to 15 kg, with separate hardware choices for each sash.

Independent Glass and Screen Movement

The glass sash opens outward while the insect screen opens inward to 180°, providing independent access for ventilation and cleaning. The illustrated arrangement supports a clear view through a high-visibility insect screen.

A Comfortable, Deliberate Handle Action

A mechanical click at 30° intervals gives clear positioning feedback. Rosette and rosette-free handle options combine a comfortable grip with a choice of finishes and matching spindle lengths.

Support Where the Sash Needs It

The FH26 hinge uses a 4 mm load-bearing support arm and a multi-link structure to distribute loads. Adjustable friction allows the opening feel to be tuned. The catalogue reports resistance to forces above 1,000 N for the illustrated support structure.

Secure Locking with Less Rattle

A unidirectional anti-pry roller locking rod works with reinforced strikers. An elastic anti-rattle insert helps reduce sash movement and operating noise, while the gear case incorporates an anti-misalignment device.

Straightforward Installation and Adjustment

Clamp-mounted strikers and slot-mounted screen hinges simplify assembly. Locking points offer ±0.5 mm eccentric adjustment, while the screen hinge provides ±0.6 mm lateral adjustment to accommodate installation tolerances.

Rows 1-6 describe the inward-opening screen sash; rows 7-12 describe the outward-opening glass sash. Choose one handle style for each sash, its matching spindle, the required gear-case backset and locking-rod option. Hinge finishes, hinge types and handed parts are alternatives. Quantities belong to the selected configuration and are not cumulative across alternatives. Confirm the final glass-sash opening against the selected hinge and profile.
